Bridges to Wellness is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to health for all. We operate under a grant from the federal government that is helping us develop a rural health network in the greater Siloam Springs area. Bridges to Wellness strives to promote and coordinate an affordable, accessible and sustainable health care system for our community and its surrounding area.
Bridges to Wellness is the vehicle that unites communities, government, medical providers, businesses and employees in their focus on health, wellness, support and prevention. We are advocates for community health and outreach programs. We focus attention on health promotion and disease prevention as effective and essential methods of controlling medical costs and improving health outcomes. Bridges to Wellness is governed by a Board of Directors and day-to-day operations are led by a full-time Network Director.
A coordinated, comprehensive system of providers and resources is a great asset to the public, employers, the government and health providers. This harmonized approach of sharing information and linking multiple agencies and services greatly increases the availability and awareness of health and wellness education, risk prevention, and support resources available within our community.
"We have an opportunity to map out the health and wellness future for our area; this opportunity doesn't come around very often. With a new hospital in the works, an expanding health and wellness community and employer base, along with a growing population, now is the time to get all the key players to the table and make long-range plans together. We can maximize our impact and funding as well as avoid duplication of efforts. Shaping our health and wellness future will benefit our community as a whole for years to come."
